What does not earn a commission

Orders you personally perform as the notary — you are paid for that work as the notary, not twice on the same order.
Your own orders, or orders from an account or email address associated with you.
Orders that are refunded, charged back, cancelled, or never completed.
Demonstration, test and internal orders.

You never see who you referred.

Your dashboard shows the date, the order amount, your commission and its status — and nothing else. No names, no contact details, no documents, no identity information. Notarial sessions involve government ID and legally significant records, and that information is not yours to receive.

Questions

Do I need to be a notary to join?

No. An affiliate performs no notarial acts — you are referring customers, not notarizing anything. There is no state commission, bond or E&O requirement, and no fee to join.

How is the 15% calculated?

It is 15% of the revenue Notaron actually collects for a referred order. A $25 order earns $3.75; a $35 order earns $5.25. Amounts refunded or charged back are excluded.

Do I earn on repeat orders, or only the first one?

Every qualifying order a customer you referred pays for, as long as their order was created within the attribution window of a visit through your link.

What happens if someone clicks two different affiliate links?

Last click wins. The most recent valid referral before the order was created receives the commission, and attribution is fixed at that moment — it cannot be changed afterwards by you, by another affiliate, or by the customer.

What do the people I refer see?

Nothing different. Referral tracking is invisible to them, adds nothing to their price and changes nothing about their session.

What do I see about them?

The date, the order amount, your commission and its status. Never their name, contact details, documents, identity information or session details. That is a deliberate limit of the program, not a missing feature — notarial sessions involve identity documents and legally significant records.

How do I get paid?

Through Stripe Connect. You will set up a payout account from your affiliate dashboard. If you are already a Notaron notary, your existing notary payout account is used — commissions are still accounted for separately from your notary earnings.

Can I run ads on the Notaron brand?

No. Bidding on "Notaron" or confusingly similar terms in paid search, or using them in domains, app names or social accounts, is prohibited without written permission. If you promote in a public or commercial capacity you are also responsible for disclosing the affiliate relationship as the FTC Endorsement Guides require.
